Hey guys. Next weekend im gonna swap out my V6 and Tranny, with a V8 and Tranny. I was just wondering what partsI should expect to have? Mounting brakets are movable from what I understand.. dont know if ill need a new drive train? I have the V8 ECU. Any tips would be great, appriciate it. Putting a 02 V8 and Tranny, into a '99

 

Make sure you have the whole wiring harness.....and I mean every little frickin ground and what not

 

an 02 v8? will that even be compatable?

 

They changed the body style in 2002, but they were still using the same 5.9L engines I believe. I don't think they got rid of the 5.9L as an option until the 2003 model year.
