thanks, but i do a lot more city driving and i wont be giving it full gas lol. So i think a flowmaster or cherry bom would be more ideal.

Well like i orginally suggested i think you would be happy with an orginal 40 series. Out of all the mufflers you have on your mind i think you would be the most happy out of the orginal 40's with the desired outcome you wish to have.

IMHO.... super 44 is not as loud as the 40 series , with that being said all 40 series will sound the same on the outside , inside cab will be a slight difference , 40 series delta flow less noise in the cab LOL.. thats about it.. then you gotta look at headers (slighty deeper tone), High flow cat ,Tips helps some , piping buttttt we dont want to start that either ... I cant rember if you have a delta flow 40 series on already buttt if you do , you mite kick your self in the *** for making the change and get the same results....

i have the "milder sounding" delta 40. What about the cherry bom extreme then? Im not even sure if those are street legal. Flowmaster says the 10 series arent so i imagine those arent either.

Oh and the cherry bom vortex muffler. Ive heard its more throaty than the 40 series.

my buddy had super 40's on his 5.2 ram with duals and it sounded pretty mean but ive got thrush glasspacks on mine and it sounds beastly as hell, mine is louder but his is deeper so like everyone was sayin its all in your personal preference

Padodge, quick question. If all the 40 series mufflers (super 40 original 40 and 40 delta) sound the same, then why are they rated on a chart of which one is loudest?? I mean, according to flowmaster the super 44 is loudest while the delta 40 is quieter of the 3 40 series including the original. Im just kind of confused.

if you look at flowmaster front page where it does show the chart , from 44 to the 40 series delta flow theres no difference that i seen , but when i did my flowmaster i had some 1 put 3 different muffles on and the delta is what i pick (liked) its just my taste .. maybe this is what you should do when you get it to the shop have them try a few different mufflers and dont look at what brand or series it is and pick the one you like best...

if you just tell them to throw on a simple 40 series/2 chamber you won't be disappointed
