I think it was Silver said don't use the ones from Advance because while cheap they are rubber and the gas will eat them away. Get the ones from Summit. I forgot what they are made of. Maybe he will chime in.
I just used the felpros. I trust felpro gaskets. The cost was similar to the price silver said he paid at NAPA, its just a further drive for me. The o-rings they sell for injectors, are for injectors. They are not a rubber that is easily eaten up by gas.

I put mine in last night, but haven't finished working yet, so I haven't powered the fuel pump up to check for leaks.

I did find the injectors weren't that easy to put in. I got them in the rail, then pushed them in the intake manifold and tightened down the screws. I won't be suprised if they leak at first, seems like everyone has had a leak when they first put new ones in. I also used grease to put mine on. I don't know if that was a good idea.

Grease??? Good God NO! They should not leak when installed. When I rebuilt my engine I bought O-Rings from O'Reilly Auto Parts. I used light oil on them and everything slipped together with no leaks. Sounds like you really FUBAR'd everything when you did yours.

A little bit of petroleum jelly (vasaline) works great on injector O-rings.

Best thing you can do to make it easier putting the injectors back into the manifold is to make sure everything is clean. I had to clean the chamfer that is used as a lead in for the injectors on the manifold. They were all rough and crusted over. I just used an exacto knife and scraped all the rough crap off. Then I dipped my finger in some motor oil and applied it to the hole in the manifold and the injectors and everything went together nice and smooth. Didn't even have to push down on them that hard to get them to seat in either.
