iv just fitted some new helo head lights but when i swichfrom high beam tolow beam the light on the dash wont go off. i cant work out why!. can any one help please.

Are you sure you have 9004 blubs? They may be 9007's. Both the 9004 and 9007's a basically the same bulb, execpt the high and low beam circuitplugs are reversed. Check to make sure they sent you the right blubs or connectors since they are projectors. That could cause your problem most deffinetly.

Both of my buddy's headlights went out within 2 days of eachother, and the store was out of cheap 9004's (this was also a dodge) so we got the cheap 9007's, and the high beam indicator never shut off.

 

thanks mate i will have a look. i ordered them from an ebay store so if the bulbs are wrong its not going to be easy to sort out. im in the uk hope i can get the rite bulbs here!
