well about a month ago I parked my truck in a storage lot at school for the week and when i got back to it on friday someone had stolen my tailgate. I found a new one on e-bay for 200 bucks but i aint paying that much. Ive found a couple 1500's being parted off but by the time i get to them the tailgate is already sold and the guys only want 50-75 bucks for one in great condition. Does anyone know where i can find oneor does anyone got one they are trying to get rid of? my truck is 96 1500 4x4 white

 

That sucks man. When I replaced my tail gate I got it from Certifit. Go to www.certifit.com to see if there's a warehouse near you. If not they'll drop ship it to you. Mine was like 126 and some change. Bolted right up using my handle, latches, and hinges. Hope that helps.

 

Yeh man I looked went to that website and there is one located in the city im in...thanks ALOT....but do you know how much it cost to get it painted? My truck is white...is the paint included or what?

 

Sucks man. Thats one of the reasons I dont drive arround with my tailgate on unless I have some haulin to do.
