A friend of mine had his air hat catch fire once with the air filter cover removed. Nice guy with a shovel came along and put that fire out with a scoop of US Grade A dirt and gravel... Long story short, there wasn't a shop vac around to clean it up or anything worth cleaning up, so friend still has the truck to this day. Lots of power still but the Dodge is now a heavy smoker. According to my friend, this is good for a Dodge motor. As a matter of fact, that's how you break em in, he says...[sm=signs003.gif]

I agree with you there. I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to my truck or many other things. I want them perfect and worry if they aren't.

This is a long thread about NOT reading the instructions.

The DIY thread has the way to clean TB.

1) Take off TB

2) Clean

3) Put back on

Here's a general rule I follow around here that usually keeps me out of trouble with everybody (except WayneC ):

2 helpful posts cancels out 1 smartass post. You're running a deficit.

Consider this a helpful post...
