How do you do the odometer test that shows what code has been thrown? Also how do you read the codes?

Isn't it turn the key from off to run 3 times and it flashes the codes? Then get the code and search online or post it up and someone could probably tell you. I'm not 100% sure thats how you check codes but it's something like that.

if you have a digital dash the code will pop up where the odometer is if not you will have to count the number of times the CEL flashes when it flashes five times in a row twice that is the end of the code

Works on mine. I've never had a code stored so it's never read me one but it changes and said something I don't remember what. I think it said no codes or something it was something it said. Now that I have the Hypertech I'd just use that. BTW are you sure yours doesn't work and it's not because of the Hypertech? I haven't tried it since I put that on so I wonder if that could mess with it.

on-off-on-off-on. watch odometer for code display. finishes with "done".
