Default Shift actuator ..... Location?

A mechanic told me I needed a shift actuator. I bought it but can't seem to find where it goes. I think on the transfer case but I can't find it. Does anyone have a picture or something to help? I have it and would like to put it on myself instead of paying a mechanic.

i'm not sure if you're talking about the Central Axle Disconnect (CAD) on the front axle, or the vacuum switch on the transfer case. if its the vac switch, follow the vac hard lines from the cad, back under trans cross member and up to the t-case.

here's some info.
