Default Tranny fluid leak

Hey guys,
I just noticed transmission fluid leaking from my 98 1500. It's not much, leaves about a quarter size spot on the driveway. I took a look and seems to be coming from the hoses running to the radiator or something in that general area ( i'm not a tranny pro). Has anybody had this problem, and if so how difficult of a fix is it? Too busy to work on it myself, so it will have to go to the shop.
Thanks in advance

I have a 98 1500 also, did the exact same thing. Mine was the output from the transmission that went in to the bottom port on the radiator.
Its a simple fix, but a garage might wack you $60-100 to replace a $10 part.

Mine did that for 2 or 3 years. I finally got a hose from the dealer and changed it out.A quarter sized spot is one very small drop of ATF.

Thanks for the feedback.
Yeah it is a small spot, but I'd prefer none at all! Do you think a place like Tire Kingdom (aka Merchants Tire) can fix this rather than a full blown mechanic? I'll get it in and out at a place like that much faster. Just don't have the time to replace it myself right now, but its the kinda thing that will bug the **** out of me until I do.

hammer, you've got a couple of options. you can replace those leaky hoses with new factory style hoses with the fancy quick connects and crimps (big $$), or you can replace them with a few feet of basic transmission hose and a some clamps. $10.

here's some info on using basic hose along with a cooler and a filter. you can cut off you hoses and just replace them. https://dodgeforum.com/m_717634/tm.htm

as far as paying someone else to do it.. anyone can do it, but the OEM style hoses will most likely have to come from Dodge. all auto parts store carry transmission hose and clamps.
