Default chatter when towing

I looked at previous posts but did not see one that was specific to my question/concern. I have a 2000 Ram 1500. I was pulling a fifth wheel that was about 5000 pounds. I just recently purchased a 6200 dry weight unit. When pulling the unit home there wasa chatter (I would assume valves) that I don't get when not pulling and I didn't get pulling the lighter unit. I'm affraid I mighthave purchased a fifth wheel my truck can't pull. Should I be concerned with this? The overdrive was off and it appeared to be more persistant around 55-60. Thanks for thoughts

This is based on a 2001 RAM, guessing its all about the same for previous years.
