One bad pad
I start hearing this bad grinding sound today coming from my drivers side brake. I can see the pad from the holes in the wheels and all looks well. They are about half worn down. So I get it home and pull off the wheel. The inner (piston side) pad is worn all the way down and ruined my rotor. The outer pad is about half worn. Why would they wear so uneven like that? I sprung for lifetime warranty rabestos ceramicpads but I still don't wanna be changing them all the time.[/align]
I would have agree that when you replace the brake pads to lube up the caliperbolts and slidersreally good, and make sure that after you check that the caliper moves freely after installing them.

Sometimes the pad can come unglued from the steel backing. I've seen that quite a few times and it happened on my own truck.
I've seen it on riveted linings as well.
I'll be impressed if you collect on that lifetime warranty without a catch.
