Good luck...supposed to be somewhat of a pain in the butt, if you do the seals the third member has to come out.

When I did my U-joints I used a ten foot piece of galvanized fence pole to break it loose and it still gave me a little hell. But only a little! And I'm pretty sure it's just a standard thread, I've had to pull 'em a couple different times for different reasons.

update- i finally got the ball joints done a u joints also.

it took me 5 feet of pipe, and an oxy/acyt torch to get the axle shaft nut off.. want to know why? cause whoever messed with this thing before crossthreaded the dang thing. not fun so that was about antoher $150 down the drain. as for the hub that was pretty easy a 9/16 socket and bfh did it pretty easy. so i got everything out clean it all up replcaced the ball joints no problem at all. u joints thats different story. ah the u joints.. lets see for an our i tryed getting the clips off because they where so welded on. got all for off and then pressed two sides out no problem. got the the inner shaft and could not get the caps off.. so i went with the angle grinder grinded off part of the joint yes i got it off.. but wait... as i look to my right im frickin on fire from the sparks. lol know what this means? a drive the local party store for a 12 pounder of bud.mmm.. had few and went to install new u joints. o wait autozone sucks and gives me the wrong ones haha. so the next day got new joints in and from there on it went smooth as butter. thats my first experience with 4x4 front ends not bad for a rookie a?

Thank you to everyone for the great ideas. i couldnt have done it with out you guys
