Hi, I was in the middle of changing the distributor cap, rotor button, & plugs/wires, I had to stop for my kids bike accident and forgot where I was and forgot the proper wiring for my truck from distrubutor cap to the plugs & just to make sure that the position of the cap is correct, I will need to know that also. I have a1997 ram 1500-2wd, club cab longbed, 5.9/v8 mag engineI have searched over and over for the info on line, but to no avail. If more info is needed let me know. I really need to finish this and get back to my lawn service business. Thank youto all for your help with this situation.

 

Go to your local autoparts store.. They have all the wire routing. Napa hooked me up right away.

+1 on the above. The cap should have a 1 etched on the first terminal. then just go clockwise from there.

advance carrys a live saving manuel, the haynes manuel. its a must.
