Someone stole my Air cleaner housing off my 1995 Ram 3.9L V6. Rather than pay $100 for one out of junk yard, I thought I'd replace it with a cold air intake system for better performance IF they don't use any of the existing housing parts (since I no longer have them).

JC Whitney has a K&N setup for $135........anybody know if this includes everything above the top of the intake housing?

Also, any input on the performance gains/loses of these systems would be apprciated.......(before it was stolen.....my old setup was missing the extention that went from the filter housing over to the fender area.........and sometimes the truck would stall. I was wondering IF the missing extension that was allowing heated air to affect performance?
