Waddup y'all! i have a 2003 ram 4.7 2wd and ive been looking to sawp that baby to somehting CRAZY! again CRAZY! It was rather throw a SICK engine in there and keep my truck with my custom paint and all my mods or buy an SRT10 Ram. My goal is to SPANK on these Lightnings out there and show them what a real truck does.
Icalled mopar and they told me i could do it but i have to find someone to get my electronics to work with it ex.(radio, wipers etc.. youget the point) now anyone have any suggestions? please dont respond with stupid crap or give me any suggestions that will mess up my truck and or make me look stupid when asking someone else. I'M OPEN TO ALL IDEAS!!! Please get back to me.

Find a hemi with a tranny and the wiring harness and slap it in your truck

 

get soem pics of your truck. maybe ask around in the 3rd gen section. we deal with the 318 and 360.

but since you asked. you could get a 360 and stroke it to a 408 there is a kit you can buy. and make it a BEAST!!

do a search in the forum for 408 stroker, and you should be able to pull up a few threads and some links. i cant recall the websites of the top of my head.

as far as your current 4.7 i dunno what your options are. but personall i think the HEMI is over done. its an awesome engine dont get me wrong, but i wouldnt do it unless you swap in a 6.1 or something. but everything is more pricey when it comes to HEMI anything. you got several options though
