Default Tire size?

Any one know what size tires a stock 2001 ram 1500 sport 4x4 quadcab shortbed can handle? And what size you can fit with a 3" body lift? Or the best lift for the money?

You should be able to fit 33"-diameter tires without any lifts, but if you do serious offroading, they might rub at the limtis of suspension travel.

I've heard 33" with 4wd but I think it might be smaller his being sport. Isn't sport 2wd? That make you lose 1-2 inches I believe.

I am looking into new tires also, I found a site that gave recommendation but can't find it right now, if I do I will post it.

I do remember that it recommended a 3 inch lift for my truck to put on 315/75R16 (basically 35 inch tire).

Nah i got the sport "off road" addition it looks like it has a stock body lift on it but im not really sure, i have seen on some websites that buying the 3" lifts make you loose 1 or 2 inches but im not sure about it. Might just go with a 5 inch suspension lift.
