hey i have 2 questions if anyone can help.i have a 99 ram sport 1500 w/ 160,000 mi

1 my fog lights dont work havent since i got the truck bulbs are good, i have no power at the plug, fuse is good before buying the relay if i pull the switch dose anyone know what points to test to see if the switch is bad? it is the type of switch that you turn clockwise to turn lights on and pull out to turn the foglights on.

2 i cant find a fuse for the power mirrors looked ubder the hood, on the side of the dash, in my instruction manual and the chiltons manual either there is no fuse or i keep missing something would not be suprised at all by the latter lol if no fuse and/or relay it would have to be the switch or the mirrors were replaced ant they aren't the right ones

well well well so yourfog light dont work,mine neither since the day i bought it.today i traced every wire,from lights to relay,to fuse, to switch the way it is wired there is no way they could of ever of worked.so i am rewireing it.

 

well thats not what i wanted to hear guess i shouldent ask a question unless im ready for any answer i may get. that will be my next move if i cant get it figured out id rather just change a switch/relay i like not having stray switches that look like they dont belong

 

foglights. It's probably your relay if you are not getting any power. Switch on of the known good relays with the relay for your foglights. Like the one for you fuel pump.

the fuse for the power mirrors maybe the same fuse for other thinks, like pwr windows, or locks. ect.

 

i know for mine the fuse was in its own little black case right next to the PD box. I have a different switch then you but for me the switch was bad. Ive had other light switches blow out on my truck as well. They have a tendency to go. I found a replacement at autozone for 20 bucks.

 

i'm going to try the relay swap in the morning i was looking at the chiltons book if i read it right it looks like there are 2 relays for fogs. unless one is headlight relay i dont know i'll go look again thanks guys
