Truck running rough.
When i did my seafoam... i was kinda disapointed. I wanted to see "the smoke show".... but on the other hand I guess the less smoke, the better things are on the inside. I got a little smoke, but no big clouds or anything to write home about.
haha.. i sucked some through the brake booster...then dumped the rest down the TB killed it let it sit for 5-10 min started it up... I had a hell of a smoke show the whole street was white...
still doing it... could it be a vaccum leak making it stall ? they always made it idle high... more ideas please!!! When it is stallin when i idle if i give it some gas it will come to life... It also does it if i gradually take off it will just hold the same speed(roughly 2nd gear) for a bit while im pushing on the throttle more until finally it kicks down a gear and goes...

Since you said you had a light come on about the o2 sensor, I would lean toward that being the problem. Heres what I know about o2 sensors... The ruck starts in a cold circuit loop to allow the o2 sensors to warm up to operating temperature (600 degrees) When it reaches this point, the computer goes into an open loop circuit and thus starts reading the voltages put out by the o2 sensors. With the heating element out, the o2 sensor can drop below 600 degrees at idle and therefore cause significant problems because the engine is trying to read the voltage output but can't. I would change out that sensor. A faulty o2 sensor can cause rough idle, loss of power, reduction of gas mileage among other things. They are not meant to last the life of the vehicle anyway. When you bring it to the mechanic, they will change that first if they suspect it because it is cheap and can cause confusing problems

Check this out, alot of info on this subject.https://dodgeforum.com/searchpro.asp...bmitbutton=+OK+
i read the threads...pretty much all said to clean the IAC which i did, so thanks for posting that...but please be either more specific or read the thread and see what i have done... anyone have any helpful suggestions to what could be wrong ? Noone has answered my question of if the 02 sensor will make the truck sputter stall and backfire ? It also makes a really weird sucking noise from the TB.
