Default RPM Surge at 1800

I have seen a post about this before but could not find it. When running 60mph @ 1800rpm, my truck rpm will surge up to 2200 for about a second and then jump back down to 1800. You can actually feel it in the pedal and I dont think it is the tranny. Seems like I remember the other post suggesting it may be the TPS. Any thoughts? Thanks

i think vacuum leaks can cause surging. Check your plenum thats one of the most common leaks.
