Yo, Players check out my dodge custom interior pics
I like pilla! Did you do that in fiberglass? The reason I ask is that I'm thinking about making a fiberglass sub box to fit under my back seat - and I'm wondering if I might be able to bounce a few questions off of ya.
Thanks,

to tell you the truth this is my first time fiberglassing,,,,,i'm going to give you this helpful web site that helped me out alot.check out fiberglassfourm.com.......let me know if you got the right site.......
Yo, my bad its www.fiberglassfourms.com..............this site is sick..........
Cool.... thanks for the link. It didn't work directly, but I was able to figure it out.
I'll try fishing around there for some answers.
In case you happen to know... I'll post it here too.
I want to make a fiberglass sub box to maximize the use of space underneath the back seat. It just seems to be the natural choice for following the contours of the floorboard. The rest of the box (front, sides and top) would be MDF. But I'm not quite sure what the best way would be to get the wood/fiberglass interface done.
Most of the box designs I have seen, you have built the part of the box they plan to build out of MDF, position the mounting rings, then strech "fleece" as they call it to form the rest of the box. THey usually go over the outside of the previously built box.
Well... mine will be somewhat backwards... I want to get a fiberglass "mold" of the floor, and build the box around that. Should the wood go on the inside or outside of the shell? Meaning... after I take the floorpan piece out and try to mate up the front, should I fiberglass to the back of the wood front, or around to the front? My intuition seems to say go to the front - but that would start to mess with the thickness of the box. Since I still have carpet in there - it would probably compress enough to cover the dimesion difference.
Sorry for the long winded question. We'll see how my first time at doing some fiberglass work turns out. [:-]
