On one of my buddies cars he was tuning up, he had a plug kind of like that, had me play with it and I said I think you just got to put some muscle on it, but we weren't sure so he talked to his uncle (familiar with 4 cylinders from toyota) and he just turned it hard and it popped right out. I was right, but it was an import so nothing to brag about, lol. From what I understand it just seems like there's some rust down there. Did you put anything on your plug like anti-seize before installing them?

Mine have got stuck before but it that kind of way, but I just took the air wratchet to it and it came in and out without problem after that. If you don't have a compressor I'd say justgive it hell

shoot some penetrating oil on the plug.

let it sit.

place the socket on it and lift a bit, then try to turn by hand or with ratchet.

if it is stripped, youre hosed.....

snug it back down and forget about it

well to no avail its still stuck. i tightened everything back down for now. tried all the suggestions, im worried its FUBARRED hopefully not. im gonna see if maybe any of the mechanics at work have any suggestions.

on a plus side all other cylinders ahve good compression!

what am i looking at if that plug is striped? pretty much SOL or are there any good options?

if its stripped you can get it fixed easily, well maybe not easily, but its not a FUBAR situation.
