Got my father's 98 rebuilt for $1500 with beefy internals, a shift kit, and an aux. cooler, and got it back the next day. Of course the guy is in business with my father's business partner, so he knew enough to do a good job, lol.

My overhaul was 985.00 on the dot. But no upgrades or anything, more of a checkup and replaced a few bad parts. I think I recall him replacing the bands, but I neglected to get a receipt of what all he did. Well I have a receipt like Neon had, just said "overhaul kit, labor" lol.
