Well I placed my order today for my Pure Evil Tranny. I went with the deep oil pan and the heavy duty cooler. Should be here thursday next week. Perfect time for me to drop it in over next weekend. I tried calling APS precision and Wayne was very helpful over the phone. However he kept telling me he would send me quotes to my email which he finally did after a few days. Which the quotes he gave me was for a brand new tranny and then all his upgrades. When I mentioned to him if he could do all that to my tranny if I sent it to him he said yes and he would send me a new quote with shipping and everything included. That was two weeks ago. After I called him a few times he would say I dont know what happened I will get right on it and get it to you tonight. Finally it was getting to the point where I couldnt wait any more. My tranny was getting worse every day and after april I need my truck everyday and cant afford not to have it. So now my tranny is on its way and I am very excited. Plus a huge relief off of me to get it fixed. Any advice from anyone out there on doing the swap. This is my first 4x4 tranny swap. I am in the militaryso I can take it to an auto craft shop and they have lifts and any tool I need, so I wont be wrestling with it in my driveway. Also anyone out there running a Dr. Evil tranny? Let me know how you like it.

 

Have the Dr. Evil "Pre Evil" Tranny in my truck right now. Absolutely love it. Like you I got the deep pan andheavy duty cooler. I also got a heavy duty towing torque converter as I pull a 9000 lb fifth wheel camper. Tranny loves the pull. just to let you know, when you get the tranny in you will no longer have that nice easy Chrysler shift. When these trannies shift they shift and like right now. Be soft with it and the shifts will feel like they want to take your rear end out. Under acceleration with or without a load the tranny is right on.
