Default Detroit Truetrac?

Hello Everyone,

Is the Detroit Truetrac a LSD? Or is it a locker full time one? I have been trying to figure that out on other posts but I just dont get it I guess. I need a limited slip diff. for my 2wd. It will mostly be street use, but when driving in the winter I need the extra help with both wheels.

I dont think I want the ones with the clutches because everyone says they wear out, even though they are less expensive. I think I would ratherpay just a bit more and get one with no clutch, but it has to be unlocked for the turns and things like that.

Anyone help me with the confusion?

Thanks alot

Oh yeah, Its a Chrysler 9.25

Default RE: Detroit Truetrac?

The tru-trac is an LSD and it's gear driven. It doesn't use clutches.
