Default possible power steering problem....

just about a block ago i banged the turn and it started clicking like i had a playing card in the fan a flickering sound if i may and apon pullin in the drive i popped the hood and it sounds like it coming from my powersterring box and it also feels as tho and is very warm but has fluid and is not leaking anywhere. im thinking it may be the bearings as i see the pulley wobble a little bit ... now there is a purple slash on top of it almost like a junkyard would mark if it were used im wondering if the previous owner did a ps swap and used a used ps pump not the best time for this to go out on me but it isd what it is ifyall have any ideas or agreee with me that what it is pls lemme know ......j....tyall

I had the same problem with my truck and I just replaced the whole pump... wasn't too expensive and it fixed the problem.. It can be your gearbox below it as well..
