Default Living on a chevy community... (video)

Some times it's hard to belive in what you drive when everybody else in your community look at you as the "ugly duck" I mean I don't know if I just like Dodge or it's that I like to go against the current.
anybody here, belives that I can beat a Chevy with a 6.0L engine, on my '01 Ram 5.9L gas, I know It's a very good engine but God! they venerates so much the Chevy here that when you say Chevy 6.0L they almost say "amen".
thats why I want to make them eat theirs words upgrading my Ram. so I 'm acepting sugestions on the upgrades I should make to my truck.

And to make it aceptable I have to spend between 25 and 30 hundred, so any advices?
Here it's where I have to beat them:

I feel like a traitor...I have both!! My work truck is a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 with the Vortec 6.0L and My Dodge is a 2000 1500 Sport with the 5.9L.
My GMC has more power but the fuel mileage sucks pure nuts. I get 9-10 mpg with it compared to 15 with the Dodge.
Both vehicles are basically stock with no 'real' mods. The GMC is geared lower too. I work for our local cable company and the GMC has a fiberglass cap plus ladder racks and between 4-6 full reels of cable and various other crap with is easily 1000lbs.
I think the biggest thing that robbed power from the Dodge was the death flash...Remove that and you will notice a difference.

You should be able to beat the chevy... if your talking about racing... towing the chevy would beat you probably becasue of more power.

The chevy 2500 w/6.0 is pretty heavy, which is why you should be able to beat one... a friend of mine's dad had a 03 6.0 and my truck in a race pulled about half a truck length on it... so imo they are about even.

Well this is really true, but this guys are taking the 6.0 and puting it on light trucks like the jeep comanche, blazers, and 1500 chevy trucks,
