I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 2x4. 318 cubic inch V-8. I need a catalytic converter for it, can someone please tell me what pipe sizes I need. It has the 2 in and one outlet. Thank you

I believe it's 2 1/2. You can pick up direct-fit replacement hi-flow cats on E-bay for about $75.

DEPENDING ON YOUR MILEAGE, IT MIGHT BE A WARRANTY FIX.

he is probably out of the warrenty time frame...though it wont hurt for him to call a dealer to find out. The warrenty expires after 8 years or 80,000 miles, and it does not matter how many people owned the truck before you.
