Default +1 For Remflex Exhaust Gaskets

Man I'll tell ya. It's awful hard to find service like these guys give now-a-days. Awesome service!

Remflex has a 100% guarantee that they will seal or they will send you a replace set or give you your money back.

Well, guess what? My gaskets are going again. And We've figured out its because the bolts are loosening up. So therefor the gaskets are getting blown out.

I just called up Remflex, just about 5 minutes ago, and told them what's happening. No questions asked, they are sending me a new set tomorrow! Thats awesome! I mean this guy was real nice on the phone, very knowledgeable, and made me completely happy.

I just ordered a set of locking header bolts. Hopefully third time is the charm.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know, if you need exhaust gaskets GET REMFLEX! They are awesome!

Just wanted to share.

That's good to hear man. I've got set on the way right now actually and I'm hoping that they work out well. Everyone says that they are the best and hopefully I'll have no trouble with them; just gotta keep those bolts tight. I'm glad you had a good experience.

I've had my Remflex installed for over a year without issue. Luckily I don't have the loose bolt issue you did. Glad to hear that you had a good experience with them regarding the warranty.

They have an effective product
and are true craftsmen at making it and providing support
...but that still means it is crucial to check the flatness
of both the header flange and engine mounting surface with straightedge and feeler gauges;
use high grade fasteners that are corrosion resistant
and re-torque on a schedule

I'm having my header flanges milled and I personally checked for warpage. There is no warpage, but one side needs to be milled. I also check the heads this last time i put them on, and they are flat, and true as well.
I do re-torques on schedule, but I think it's the bolts I have. I've got the locking fasteners on their way, so I hope this takes care of the problem.
