Recap here... bought a trk at auction. The front axel u-joints were junk. The driverside shaft was cracked and I cant find a used one and the stealerships want 475+ for one. Anybody parting out a ram 4x4? I need one bad. This trk is gonna pay my house payments. (Laid off 3 mo). 98 ram 1500.

 

Look on www.car-parts.com for a driveshaft. You should be able to locate on locally to you. Good luck and I hope you get it on the road soon. Without knowing your wheelbase and transmission there's no way anybody can know whether they can help you out or not. There are 8 varieties of driveshafts out there for our trucks depending on what combination oftranny and wheelbase you have.
