They look good man. I've been toying with some like that for my truck as well; gotta love yellow and black. Looks nice.

That will look good.
I'm going for the Green and Black Theme.

Default HIDs in ebay projectors..Please give input

I have the eBay headlights and they look really good. I got some H1 bulbs in real HID/ xenon, and they look great, but the
cutoff line is keeping the beam too far down on the road. The beam needs to come up. I am thinking if I disassemble
the eBay projector and trim the shield, or take it out, will that produce a brighter bigger beam?

I live in Mississippi, so the Law enforcement here is not so much worried about HID lights as they are people
with no headlights at all, if you know what I mean.

I would just like to get what I can from the eBay projectors with HID bulbs and ballast, without spending a bunch on a retro. If you have any
helpful ideas on how to do this, please let me know.

Thanks for the help!

This is highly unadvisable. That shield is what prevents people from being blinded by your lights (if you were to look directly into a halogen light, you'll know what I mean, but I don't advise that either!). Even if your law enforcement doesn't care, some will somewhere if you ever take the truck anywhere. I'm pretty sure its very illegal.

If the beam needs to come up, take some washers and put them under the bottom bolts of both the headlamp housings. That will angle the whole headlamp assemblies up, bringing up the beam. Just don't bring it up to much.

Do you have headlamps like mine or kroffty, or are yours projectors?

I was thinking of getting some to replace mine in my 99 Ram.

Does anyone have these?

They say they do not include instructions and also need professional installation. I really want something that is simple and goes in easily. If anyone has any links to ones they got recently I would appreciate it. Most of the links I am finding are older and invalid items.
