yesterday- 1st- Torque Conv. stopped locking/unlocking 2nd- kicked itself out of overdrive, couple more miles, won't do anything- HELP!! Today drove it going fine, then like in neutral.... no previous problems...fluid not burn...fine levels... Can turn truck off for a couple of minutes, crank it back and it will go into drive, but only for a few seconds..then like neutral again... Same if I put it in reverse...Had a guy run a computer check today and he says codes tell him overdrive solenoid problem... can hear pump whining a bit today too.... i know it is probably coicidence but this all started within days of replacing my waterpump and thermostat..... PLEASE HELP!! I just had to replace the trans in my wifes car 2 weeks ago! Cant go through this again with this truck!! Thanks in advance for ANY HELP OR ADVISE [&o]

 

the torque converter clutch is engaged by the overdrive/converter clutch solenoid assembly located on the valve body.. give me an email or call and i can get you some help.
