Default transmission cooler questions

hi everyone.

I really need to put a tranny cooler on my truck, but I have a couple of questions. How has everyone done this. What does a stock cooler look like, and is a bigger cooler a better cooler or is it something else that seperates the good from the bad. Does the cooler go between the radiator and the condenser or in front of everything. Also should I do away with the stock cooler inside the radiator or use both. Also what all would go into installing a temp gauge. Aside from the mounting of the gauge, is it difficult or does someone make a senser that just installs very easily.

Thanks

PS Pictures would be great

Default RE: transmission cooler questions

The stock aux cooler has two lines that run between the rad and condenser at about a 30* angle on the passenger side of the rad.

There have been several write ups on this (use search function) and there might even be one in the DIY section (2 stickies at top of front page).
