Default Tranny make wining sound

Alright. I got my Tranny rebuilt about 10months ago. It was so bad they had to pretty much replace it with another one. like the whole thang! anyways. About two months ago it started to make a wining sound everytime I put it in reverse. and only reverse. but not all the time. If i hold the break and give it just a little big of gas it starts and its loud. The guys at the shop where I got it done said its nothing to worry about... I call bull sh*t! Anyone know what I should do or say or what it could be?

I have a 96 ram 1500 that has the same problem .. mine has 193k on the truck ,and at one point the tranny was replaced (prior owner)I added some Lucas tranny additive and it helped those embarrassing moments of back out of a crowded lot ..But I realize this is just a temp cover-up for the real problem below .. Let me know what you find out .. I can't help you any more than that ,but someone here will soon stumble across your thread and be both of our saviors..

Read this... its your exact problem.

I had the same problem, but it was gone after the recent rebuild.

Mine started out with reverse then it would do it when shifting up, but when the transmission was up to temp it was fine.
