Default 5" lift question

Hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of "rough Countr" and whether or not they're a good lift company...also i already have a 2" leveling kit from rancho on my 2000 1500 and if i got a 5" lift from rough country could i keep both on?

I don't know much about rough country. But as far as keeping both lifts installed it all depends on what components each lift comes with. Most likely you will not be able to keep both of them.

the rough country kit does not come with long arms, this would make it impossible to keep them both. It could be possible for you to buy a 3 inch roung country kit, and keep your spacers, but additional stuff would need to be bought (pitman arm, brake lines) and probably something to lift the rear like a shackle flip

Not to be a jerk, but I'd suggest a forum search inder "Rough Country" or "Top Gun customs". These questions have been covered several times in the last few weeks.

BTW, my 3 inch R/C lift came with longer arms...

i know that rough country kits come with longer arms. But they are not long arms. Someone like skyjacker or dick cepek make long arms that go back to the crossmember in the frame. It is impossible to run seven inches of lift on stock location arms. I do not care how long you get them, their angle will be like forty five degrees.

I currently have a 3 inch r/c lift kit, but I think I netted like 4 inches but I'm not sure. My point is my control arms are pretty steep, and I would not go higher(5 inches would probably be ok)without a goot set of long arms
