Default fuel cell

Has anyone put a fuel cell in their truck? I would like to relocate it in the bed but I want to still use the stock fuel pump assembly (only for the emmisions here). Has anyone done this yet? Got any suggestions? I have e-mailed a few companies, but still looking. thanks.

I had kicked around the idea myself. My thoughts were to place it where the spare tire goes. Since I have over size tires it does me no good to have a stock size spare. I checked with a few hot rod shops and stuff like that that said it would be possible to build one that used the stock fuel assembly. They just needed dimensions to what size I wanted it built and stuff like that. Down side to it they are custom built out of aluminum and were costing upwards of5 to 800 dollars or more. Quick question in your sig you mention the hemi stroker, is that something you already have or would like to?

hey i believe that some of the rams, came with a tank where the spare tire goes, I'm not positive but I think that if you bought a 1 ton truck as a cab and chassis that is where the tank was

yes it a 426 and yes i am using the stock fuel pump. I checked everything out through hughes and fuel pressure. The stock pump puts out plenty so far. The problem being getting this monster to hook up even with regular drving on my 39.5 inch tires so I am planning on doing some rear end set-up mods (3 link, ciolovers, and panhard bar) but thought I might as well get my weight a little more on center by moving the tank to in the bed. I don;t really care what the tank costs...(ouch!) but I would really like to keep the stock pump assembly.

So does anyone know if a 97-06 TJ or YJ pump cap is the same size? I think I have it figured out. Does anyone know a good place to get a custom tank built somewhere close to middle tennesse?
