A rubicon tcase is not a 241d, rather a 241or aka Rocktrac. Yes it's stronger and deeper ratio. I know of 2 rams that have installed one and I'll soon be doing mine. Very soon actually.

If you are an auto, then the 241or is bolt in as it has same spline count. If you are a manual, then have to change trans shaft for length and spline count, iirc.
