We have had two dodge trucks make a noise similar to that after overhaul. The noise took a few months to develop. We think that the noise is related to the PVC system. There is a little checkball in the PVC valve, we think for some reason it is fluttering when the rpm's drop. Thats all we could determine. So far both transmissions are going on a year after overhaul and still doing fine.
