Default Camshaft upgrade?

I have a lifter tick in my 01 360. I'm going to replace all lifters and cam. I just hung up the phone with hughes engines and they recommended a reground cam that has a little more lift and duration for more power from idle to 5000 rpm (part# HER0814). The guy on the phone said the 5.9does not need a computer adjustment for this cam. Any one of you guys have good luck with after market cams without re-programming computer? Thanks.

if you go to summit racing, i think it is a comp cam kit that comes with cams and lifters for like 400 bucks, its a huge jump up to like 500 lift, and they say no computer upgrade needed either. I'm really not sure as I've never done it, but I would trust comp cams over anybody else

Links??? I looked around a long time ago and never ran across that. Make sure it is for the Magnum motor and not the LA block.
