Hi, I need to replace the u-joints on the front axles on my 96 1500.[:@]
can anyone tell me if I have to do anything special on the passanger side
with the CAD unit or will the axle shaft just slide out after I get the hub off ?

slides right out.
Might have to rotate the shaft while
re-installing to get the shaft to slide into the sleeve in the CAD.

Make sure you clean the axle tube out, I just changed my U-Joints today..imagine that. If you get any dirt on the shaft while installing it, the seal will leak, which is not very good. I had to park my truck like retard for like a year so the diff fluid wouldnt run out
