Brake light problem...

I have a 200 ram 1500. The brake lights do not come on when I push the pedal.I have traced the wires all the way back to the fuse box and have no fire at the fuse or anything. Any ideas,coould it be the brake light switch at the pedal???Thanks for any help???

Could be. When mine went out, the lights were on all the time. You didn't say so thought I'd ask, did you replace the bulbs?
