Default Tranny temp gauge

I just got a tranny temp gauge for my truck and want to know if there is a place i can hook it up in the tranny. I don't have a drain plug in the pan and i don't want to cut the line if i can go another way.

I have a 95 2500 4x4 with the v-10 engine.

On my '96, 5.9, gasser, removed tranny drain-back check valve located onpassenger side in-line with the torque converter output and connected to the lower radiator. Obtained a T-fitting from a hardware store. One end screws(mechanical connection)into the tranny out line, purchased a barbed hose connection for the second connection and about a 1.5 ft of tranny hose that goes to radiator. The tranny temp sensor screws into the third T. AsI remember all plumbing was 3/8" ID.

I placed mine at the rear of the passenger side. If you look at the passenger side corner of the pan and then follow it straight up you will see a little bolt sticking out. That was the place recommended by the guys at Dr. Evil Trans when I bought mine.

I think that is the line pressure test port. Thats where I would install it.
If I had one...
