Default rear end "clicking"

hello all,
im new here, but i am wondering if anyone can help me with a problem im having with my truck. 1996 dodge ram sport 1500 4x4 318ci. i have a clicking noise coming from somewhere in the rear of my truck. the more i accelerate the faster it clicks. doesnt seem to do it unless it is under torque, unless it is just less pronounced. i dont seemto have any unusual vibration but once in a while when i decelerate at a corner or stop sign there is a "clunk". i see there is quite a few problems with dodge LSD and i wonder if i have a bad diff gear or bearings. has plenty of oil and no leaking at the ends of the axle. 176,000 miles.

thanks in advance
