Gas Milage of a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500
Welcome to DF.
Don't expect to get any better than 12 to 15 mpg with the truck. A lot depends on how you drive and maintain it. Do a search here in the forum on MPG and you'll find a lot of information in other posts on what you can do.
The basics are the same for all vehicles:
[ul][*]Keep it tuned up.[*]keep the tire pressures correct[*]drive conservatively[*]Don't expect to get 20 MPG[/ul]

Ask the guys in the 3rd gen forum if you have an 02. Be sure to include what engine you have. The 4.7 v8 is 14/19, the 5.9 v8 is 12/17, and the 5.7 v8 is 14/18 according to dodge.
