Default Heater Core Issues!

So I changed my Heater core and ac evaporator a few weeks ago and have had problems ever since. The problem is I hear gurggling when I start up and when I accelerate from a stop. It sometimes goes away. Plus..the main headache..it's leaking coolant from underneath when I'm parked and I can't find where it's coming from. It sometimes pisses and soemtimes it's only a little to none. I tried burping it at theradiator by leaving it running idle while filling the radiator or leaving the cap off. When I do that, the gurggling and leaking gets a little better for a couple days. The A/C guy at Auto Zone says he has no idea what else to do. Any ideas? I'm ready to burn this thing to the ground!

the leak is probably leaking under high temperature (high pressure) and sucking air under low temperature (low pressure), so that's why the air is not going away. assuming the heater core itself is not damaged, it might be the heater hose clamps on the core's pipes. is that all you removed ? if you can't find it, you might need to get/make a pressure tester where you shoot a little high pressure air in there and listen for the leak..

+1 on the pressure tester. Try a bottle of radiator stop leak, it works wonders

I changed the heater core and the evaporator core. I did the pressure test and everything was good. The hose clamps I replaced due to the stock ones sucking and not clamping tight enough. I also had to replace sections of vaccum lines under hood cuz they broke due to being dry and brittles as hell, with rubber hose. Like I said the pressure test showed eveything to be good and held pressure. Any other ideas? I'll look for the possible leak locations you referred to.

I have had the exact same problem. Started with my Original Evap Core, then after having that replaced, began about 1 yr later with the new one. You can always check the drain opening in the firewall with a ballpoint pen to make sure thatthe drain flowisn't being impeded by trash, etc. But I still have not founda trueanswer for mine. I only noticed it recently when I felt the interior floorboard passenger carpet and it was soaking wet. I suppose that water/condensate is now leaking back into the cab. Called the mechanic who did the work and he has no idea (of course it is now out of warranty).

I would definitely be interested in any ideas from you guys because I am at the end.
