That LOOKS like a "Spin Cat". Probably a ceramic substrate since I don't see him specifying metallic.
You can get them cheaper here:

For $55, I would go with the metallic one:

I like how it doesn't list the shipping cost or estimate! Gotta love ebay shipping cost.
Click on "calculate".
It's $15.xx to my house.

The link I posted might have free shipping. I just tried "check out", and shipping showed "0". Call them to make sure.

I'll bet they'll tell you what shipping will cost before you commit to buying it too.

Some Dodges throw codes and some don't. Mine did with a gutted cat..... after a while. It was strange, but it didn't do it right off. It was a couple of weeks. I have also heard of people tieing the aft o2 sensor to the frame rail wrapped in tin foil to stop codes. It maydepend on the model year.

I know that if i add a hi flo cat then it will be noticably louder but how much louder in comparison to flowmasters with a reg cat or a gutted cat and would the hi flo cat be worth the money considering that I am only doing it to make my truck louder? sorry for all the questions but im trying to figure out what im going to do instead of spending the money and finding out I dont like it cause im not sitting in money right now.

The magnaflow I installed was quite a bit louder and I have a flowmaster as well. I like mine gave me more power and more sound especially when you get into it.

with all the research i've done on the topic, Magnaflow seems to keep comin up. The only knock I read about it, was from someone getting his exhaust done at a franchise shop, and them telling him that they burn up. Well, even my UTI friend, says mechanics shiest ya all the time. All that that particualar mechanic did was make some profit.

I'm just upset the direct fit went from 159 to 176 and then 206 all in a month, from summit. I found one for 198.99 from Advance.com.

That's your best bet, but me being on a tight budget, may have to sacrifice and get just the cat itself, having a shop weld it in.

If your cat is ok, why not just change the muffler? Plenty to choose from to get a sound you want.

Just checked your sig. You have a Flowmaster 40 and it's not loud enough? Do you have the stock cat? I have a '96 and it has the 2 into 1 cat. Is that what you have? If so, how will you install the single cat?
