I know that's very close to what Auburn recommends.
It just seems like a lot to me.
My own experience with auburn hasn't been great but I doubt it has anything to do with too much or too little friction modifier.
Time will tell I guess...

The only reason I use the Mopar fluid is because I used to get it free and still have a small stash.
And you know how I feel about free

free.....

The kind of Ford stuff I got is a greenish maybe some blue to it but I'd say more greenish and smelled horrible you are right. Is this what I wanted?

Yeah a white bottle with a black top and a red and white label. Said Motorcraft on it.

Yup, thats the stuff. I think your right, it is more green then blue. I just bought two bottles to use when I do my fluid change after the break in of the new gears.

I bought 3 bottles to have one for a spare but opened it up as it was leaking slightly and I wanted to make sure it was still full. Well, I didn't think about and set it down with the top off and it got knocked over and spilled everywhere. So now I have no spairs. I wish I had bought about 6 bottles so I would have plenty for the next fluid changes too.
