Default headers for v10

i know im gonna catch hell on this one. i searched on ebay and found about 20 listings for headers for my v10 ram. they are priced at around 150 plus shipping, i know thats cheap, but i have a real bad cracked manifold on my truck, and dont want to mess up my truck, the dealer is about chocking me with the cost of a stock manifold and it is on back order. any thoughts or comments, or help would be much appreciated. im also trying to find brake lines for the front, from the master cylinder down to the frame, mine are very rusty, (northern truck) now in the south. thanks ahead of time.

Default RE: headers for v10

Headers: Do what ya gotta do. Mine are ebay stainless cheapos that I had ceramic coated, and I've never had a problem, other than burning thru a spark plug wire (didn't see it had fallen onto the header pipe). But I also tighten them every oil change, and tightened them every 500 miles for the first 2000. Tightening them is something your gonna do for ANY header! Either way, better than stock cast iron and dealership prices anyday!

Brake lines: buy the tools and build them yourself, or pay someone to. Other than pulling some used ones off of a wrecked truck it's your only choice. Buy some straight stock, a flaring tool, and a bender and git-r-done.....Preferably BEFORE they blow out and you kill somebody!! LOL
