Default Got my clear corners on

Well, I got my clear corners in the mail today and put them on. The seem to be of decent quality. There is a slight gap on the passenger side where it meets up to the fender. If you look hard you can see the plug for the bulb through it. Overall it's hardly noticable and I wouldn't notice it had I not put them on. You'd have to be looking for something to see this. The stock one fits tight against the fender with no gap and the other side of these fit tight against the fender. I don't know why they are like this but for the price I paid I'm happy so far. I will have to wait to see how they hold up. Here are some pictures. Let me know what you think. I thought about the projector headlights but I've just heard too many complaints about the quality of them. They do look good though. After hearing the complaints I decided to just get these.

Here they are.

Here is a before picture.

Here is a picture of my painted shocks to show they are holding up really well so far. The coils are a little dirty. I washed the truck and gave them a quick wipe down. I need to go back and clean them a little better. I'd say the only thing with the shocks that doesn't look as good as when I put them on is the boots and thats because they have gotten a little dirty and they are hard to clean with them on the truck. They still look pretty good though.

I used to agree with you. I've always like the stock ones the best on here until recently. Something suddenly made me want clear corners really badly. The all clear ones that don't have a texture to them just look out of place to me even on sport ones a little but they look better if they match the headlight. thats why I got the ones with the texture of the headlight as I'm not planning to do a sport headlight conversion right now. Anyway I just really started liking the look of them so decided to go ahead and order a set. I'm keeping my stock set just so I can switch back if I decide I want the stock ones back. It's like a minute job so I could do it very easily. Overall I like these though. At this point I'm not sure which ones I like better. To me both look good. I used to really like the stock ones best but these have grown on me. I may like the stock ones better again in a month who knows. On my Honda clear corners and turn signal lenses made a huge difference look wise and made it look a ton better but on these it's not that drastic of a change.

I'm with tombojb. Looks ok and I can see what you're aiming for, just not for me. Do you use orange bulbs in them?

If someone had asked me a month ago I would have agreed with both of you. For some reason I just thought clear corners looked cheap and like crap on these trucks. Then one day probably last week I got to looking at some old pictures of DJ Gastons truck and realized he I really like these things. It just gave me the urge to order some. I've always liked clear corners on most cars but they just looked cheap for some reason to me on Rams. For some reason I just started liking them and after getting them have really liked how they look. Like I said my mind may change back to not liking them though thats why I'm keeping my stock ones just incase.

As for bulbs you need ones that light up amber to remain legal. There are amber ones that are just amber like the stock ones use. They are amber but the bulb looks amber when off too so you can see amber inside the housing even when it's off. Or you can get stealth bulbs that are chrome when off so you can't really see them. Then there are Silverstar ones that light up amber but when are off are sort of a blueish chrome but at right angles you can see a little bit of amber.
