Default Late Introduction

Hey all,

I have been hanging on the site for quite awhile. Mostly just lurking but did have several questions when I bought my first Dodge a couple of months ago.

Anyhow, I thought I would post up some pictures and introduce myself. The name is Chris and I mostly hang on biker forums. I run a very large Low Cost Chopper forum and help out on a few others. I bought this 99' RAM 1500 from a guy on ebay. He was only about 45 miles from me but I did buy it just off pictures and his word (won't do that again).

I love the truck, the power, looks, the bumbers and grill guard is what sold me on it. However, afdter buying I found that the heater core was plugged (taken care of by back flushing it several times), ABS Speed Sensor was bad (replaced), front brake rotors must be warped but have not got that far yet. It also did not have 3rd gear when I got it which was not mentioned either. Needless to say after spending 1500.00 to rebuild transmission and install shift kit every things seems much better.

Things still planned to do in short term: dash cover, new brakes all around (possibly 3/4 ton), replace missing center caps and hood emblem, new bigger tires and maybe wheels, fog lights (not sure where to mount yet).

Pictures Here!

Anyone seen or running the Ranch King bumper setup I have? It has two square holes where I am assuming the tow hooks would usually go but not positive. I was thinking of putting some fog lamps in there. Any suggestions? Anyone know of a fog lamp made for this application?
