Default slight shudder

[blockquote][blockquote]We have a 2000 150 LB 4x4 kingcab 360 v8. 114,ooo miles.. new rear end 14ooo ago. Have serviced the trans and rear/frt end last wk.. Still have a slight shudder backing and starting forward. Is especially noticed if turning, but seems to go away in an instant of forward motion. Really cannot feel it at road speeds or above 5mph. Pull small camper w/grandgirls and cannot be suffering breakdowns 200 miles away w/them. Help? Any more signs or symptoms to look for?.. Thanks for all.. whw

Is this shudder something new or has it always been there?
I would check all the u-joints just to be safe.
Does your truck have a 2 piece rear drive shaft with a hanger bearing?
I seem to remember those having a bit of a shudder but I don't recall there being a fix for it.

yeah, if two piece, not much to do...
there was a Tech Tiip sometime back about lowering the hanger and re-bolting it with washers to space it down some to help correct some
angle issues, other than that. not much.
